Currently working for Accenture as a Cyber Security Analyst for the graduate program.
Working as part of the MSS team within the Accenture UK Security group. Working on various projects and delivering different workstreams to clients.
Graduated from Lincoln University in 2019 with a 2:1 (Hons) Computer Science degree and moved to Ottawa, Canada. Secured an IT team role in the networking industry, helping major clients such as Porsche, Audi, and other major companies in the Ottawa area to develop, design, and maintain their networks. As part of a small team of five, I gained broad and deep experience with clients, network architecture and helped customers navigate through an unprecedented year. Within the role, I dealt with significant cyber-security attacks, implementation and support of critical customer networks and ensuring the company was presented professionally and with excellence. This job gave me invaluable confidence, depth and experience in my first professional role. I was the lead designer and manager of the entire backup solutions, both onsite and offsite for over a petabyte of data.
An exciting experience to learn and understand how a global organisation develops Web applications through the design phase to the end release phase of the product. I developed my own website with a lead designer and web developer to provide valuable experience. I operated as part of a scrum team and learned more valuable experience on continuous integration and development models.
Working in a warehouse using high tech systems to deliver a final product on time to the customer. Worked long hours and always had to achieve an end goal of a day. Tense environment for a part-time job while working at university to achieve my degree. I worked this job on and off through different summers.
Whilst at university, I also worked as an engineer for the horseracing companies which needed help on race days with betting equipment such as computers, ticket machines and more. I worked on the go at various locations around the race courses to identify and locate issues with computers. This was a high-intensity job that involved a high amount of customer interactions.
